Yearbook

      Before acceptance into the yearbook class, students must have taken at least one computer class and must have maintained an A or B average in their last English course; then they must complete an application process. Once accepted, there are four main objectives for yearbook staff members: (1) To enhance journalistic skills, such as brainstorming, reseraching, reporting, composing, editing, proofreading, photographing, planning, budgeting, accounting, and marketing. (2) To become more proficient when using technology, including computers, various comptuer programs, digital cameras, and scanners. (3) To develop important life skills, such as reliability, litsening, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, motivation, and the planning and meeting of deadlines. (4) To create a comlpete, informative, entertaining, and appealing yearbook for Antwerp Local Schools.
